Chlöe is focusing on her solo career with the release of Resurrection, a collaborative mixtape created with producer Timbaland, accompanied by the music video for the opening track, “Talking Dirty.”
The project marks the singer’s first major body of work since 2024’s Trouble in Paradise and follows months of teasing studio sessions with the Grammy-winning producer. The 13-track set pairs Chlöe’s R&B vocals with Timbaland’s signature production style, with “Talking Dirty” serving as the lead visual from the collection.. The mixtape also includes songs such as “Hold It,” “Priorities,” “World on Fire,” “Sensitive” and “Jittery.”
Resurrection represents a creative reset for Chlöe as she continues to expand her solo catalog. Timbaland, whose past collaborations helped define the careers of artists including Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, brings his longtime production approach to the project.
The mixtape release also arrives during a busy period for Chlöe, who recently appeared at the American Black Film Festival and is starring in the film Strung, which is currently streaming on Peacock.
